Léon de Bruxelles started its life in 1893 with the opening of Chez Léon on Rue des Bouchers in the heart of Brussels. Since then the European franchise has spread across Paris and provinces of France with 72 restuarants.
In October 2010, The Triangle Group purchased the UK franchise rights with a view to growing the brand in the UK, in particular targeting London and the South East.
In 2012, the UK flagship took a prominent corner site on Cambridge Circus, in the very heart of London’s The- atreland, near to Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square and Leicester Square. Léon de Bruxelles is an authentic Belgian ‘brasserie’ and as such endeavours to source as many products from Belgium as possible including water and a fine range of beers.
